How often do I need to change the product I'm using?

Proper hygiene is an essential part of managing incontinence. To maintain skin health, avoid infection, and prevent incontinence from getting worse, you should regularly change your protective hygiene product and clean the genital and anal area. For bladder leakage, you should use a fresh product when you begin to feel wetness. However, you can change the product as often as you'd like to feel fresh, dry, and comfortable. Be sure to clean any areas that touched the leakage or the soiled product, especially the genital and anal regions. Disposable adult washcloths are a convenient and efficient way to cleanse the area before applying a new product.
